A Shot in the Night Part Two: The trivia
The first sequence of the man being reborn is supposed to take place only minutes after the end of part one, but it was shot over one year later.
The killers sunglasses were covered on the inside with black plastic bags in order to make them black enough for the camera's nightshot mode. This of course also made the actor Karl Baron completely blind when he wore them.
Filming took place in 2005, but the film wasn't finished until the end of 2007.
A Shot in the Night Part Two is the second BMP movie to feature a completely original score.
Thoug he's not acting on screen, Filip Carlson does all the voices heard in the film.
SPOILER WARNING! The idea for the chased man to throw hot boiling water at the killer came from a short comic strip series called "Häckklipparmannen" (eng: The Hedgecutter man) drawn by writer/director Filip Carlson several years earlier.
